The original kitchen had a small addition which was part dining area and part closet, and the resulting space was subdivided into three small areas. The client wanted to open up the kitchen and bring more light in.

We removed the interior walls of the addition, raised the ceiling, and introduced skylights. The kitchen now has ample room for a dining area and an island as well. Radiant floor heating keeps the room comfortable on cold winter mornings.
