Lexington House

In 2010, we completed a LEED gold project in Lexington Massachusetts. We examined many potential wall sections to create an extremely tight building envelope. Consequently, the house can be heated with very little energy. Some of the sustainable features of this house were:

  • Super-insulated walls
  • Passive solar
  • Geothermal heating
  • Heat recovery ventilator
  • Permeable paving
  • Rainwater harvesting
  • Sustainable landscaping
  • Advanced framing
  • Low-flow fixtures
  • Energy efficient lighting
